Smart dispatch: sending each job to the right person

Add specialties to each team member and captured jobs route to whoever actually does that kind of work.

Two tradespeople checking their phones beside separate vans

Once you run more than one van, the bottleneck stops being missed calls and becomes who picks the job up.

Specialties on each profile

Every team member has trades and specialties on their profile — gas, commercial, drainage, EV charging, whatever you actually sell. Be specific. "Plumbing" routes nothing useful; "unvented cylinders" and "power flushing" route the jobs only one of your team should be taking.

Jobs match themselves

When the specialty detected on a captured job matches a technician's profile, the job is routed to them instead of sitting in a shared pile waiting for someone to claim it. The assigned person is named on the card and receives the alert, so there is no ambiguity about who owns the callback.
  • Unmatched jobs go to the owner by default, never nowhere.
  • Each technician's own missed calls stay attached to them.
  • The office sees every job in one list regardless of who it belongs to.

You can still override

Assignment is a suggestion, not a rule. Reassign from the dashboard whenever the day changes shape — illness, a job overrunning, a van stuck on the A1. The reassignment is recorded on the job, so the history still shows who actually did the work.

How team lines work →

What it fixes in a two-to-five-van business

Shared inboxes fail in the trades for a simple reason: everyone assumes someone else rang the customer. Named ownership removes the assumption. It also gives you the first honest per-person numbers you have probably ever had — leads received, jobs converted, average response time.

Before you add a van

Routing exposes capacity. When one specialty is consistently backed up while another sits idle, you have a hiring answer rather than a hiring hunch.

Common questions

How many team members can I add?
Solo covers one line, Pro covers three and Team is unlimited. Each person keeps their own number.
Do technicians see each other's jobs?
Everyone in the account sees the shared list, with each job clearly marked as assigned.
What happens if nobody matches a specialty?
The job is assigned to the account owner so it always has a named person responsible.
